It was dusk by the time we walked back up the hill to the birthing centre that sat steadily and somewhat in solitary there. Well, a hill in my eyes, but perhaps only a speed bump in the eyes of our Nepali friends who live in a country with the world’s highest mountain.

Vanuatu. A country you might immediately associate with sunshine, beach, coconuts and honeymoon couples (lots of them). It’s not surprising that I had lots of questions from my family and friends when they found out I was travelling to Vanuatu last November to visit the water, sanitation and hygiene program Thankyou’s water and body care ranges are helping to fund.

Life-Changing (Literally) Baby Care
As a mama to three girls I calculated that I have changed over 12 thousand nappies day and night in the past few years, and we’re still going! That’s a lot of nappies – and a lot of money.
