Thankyou's co-founder and Managing Director, Daniel Flynn reflects on fatherhood, Thankyou's baby range and a recent project trip to Nepal.

We caught up with Jarryd (our awesome co-founder) and Jess (part of our People & Culture team AND the person who created 3pm squat o’clock) to chat about family, adapting to change and what gets them dancing.

Daniel and Justine (our awesome co-founders!) have been on the Thankyou journey for 9 years now and have managed to achieve some seriously epic stuff (you might wanna read Chapter One if you’re not sure what we’re talking about! As a mama to three girls I calculated that I have changed over 12 thousand nappies day and night in the past few years, and we’re still going! That’s a lot of nappies – and a lot of money. Childbirth in Rural Nepal - Restoring Dignity and Giving Hope for a Better Future

This is the story of how Thankyou baby was made, which took a little longer than nine months, but still involved lots of careful planning and tons of excitement. As with most of our crazy ideas, it all started with a leap of faith. We saw an opportunity to make a range of top-notch baby products, with the power to create real positive change.

One of the best parts of my job is teaming up with people who are passionate about changing the lives of some of the most vulnerable communities in the world. Surya from One Heart World-Wide (OHW) is one of these people.
